Ashley Yanchik, VMD, DACVR-EDI, DACVR

       

Ashley Yanchik, VMD, Diplomate, ACVR-EDI, Diplomate, ACVR, is a Board-certified Veterinary Radiologist at VetRad. She has been a part of the team since 2021.

Dr. Yanchik attended King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, where she graduated summa cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then earned a Veterinary Medicine Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Following graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Yanchik completed a rotating large animal surgery and medicine internship at the University of Pennsylvania, New Bolton Center in Kennett Square, PA and a small animal diagnostic imaging internship in San Diego, CA. She then completed a residency in veterinary radiology at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences in College Station, TX.

Dr. Yanchik has been published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation and has been a guest lecturer at Joliet Junior College in Joliet, IL. She has special interests in small animal and equine MRI, CT, and musculoskeletal imaging. Her favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is being an advocate for pets and their families.

When not caring for patients, you will find Dr. Yanchik enjoying all the outdoor recreation Colorado has to offer alongside her husband and their two dogs. She is also passionate about riding her horse and landscape photography.
