Wade Won, DVM, MS, Diplomate, ACVR is a Board-certified Veterinary Radiologist at VetRad.

Dr. Won attended the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in Athens, GA where he earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. He went on to complete a small animal rotating internship at the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in College Station, TX, in addition to a small animal diagnostic imaging internship at the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Pullman, WA. He then completed a residency in diagnostic imaging at the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Starkville, MS where he also earned a Master of Science degree in Veterinary Medical Sciences.

Dr. Won has authored scientific papers covering retrospective comparison of abdominal ultrasonography and radiography in the investigation of feline abdominal disease. He has a special interest in orthopedic imaging, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasonography. His favorite part of veterinary medicine is piecing together the complex puzzle of causes leading to a pet’s illness. With pets being unable to tell us what is wrong, he strives to find the answers to the complexity that comes with being a veterinarian.
